Oct.1937 Asahi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. founded in Tokyo’s Shinagawa Ward for manufacturing and marketing diamond tools.

June. 1938 Construction of Yukigaya Factory in Ota Ward, Tokyo, begins

Jan.1944 Ueno Factory (formerly Mie Factory) completed in Ueno City (now Iga City), Mie Prefecture, launching diamond die sales.
